About Mr. Ricardo Estrada


Ricardo Estrada Middle School was named after the late Mr. Ricardo Estrada who served as our District Superintendent for many years. Mr. Estrada began his career in education with Clint ISD in 1969. He served in the District as a Teacher, Coach, Assistant Principal, Principal, Bilingual Coordinator, Director of Special Programs and Bilingual Education, Assistant Superintendent for Support Services, and Deputy Superintendent. He was named Superintendent in 2005. He served as Chair of the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) School Board Awards Committee. He also served on the Texas Association of School Boards Honor Board Selection Committee, the TASA Leadership Development Committee and the El Paso Sheriff's Department Training Advisory Committee.

We take great pride in the legacy he left behind.
