No Place for Hate Initiative

ADL’s No Place For Hate initiative is a school climate improvement framework that provides PK-12 schools with an organizing framework for combating bias, bullying and hatred, leading to long term solutions for creating and maintaining a positive climate.

Ricardo Estrada will become a No Place For Hate campus by achieving the following;

  • Ricardo Estrada Middle will be designated a No Place For Hate campus by May 2018.
  • Ricardo Estrada Middle is building an inclusive and safe community, in which Respect, Tolerance, and Acceptance is the goal.
  • Ricardo Estrada Middle is empowering our school community to take a stand against hate and bullying.
  • Ricardo Estrada Middle will send a clear and unified message that all students will have a safe learning environment.
  • Ricardo Estrada’s Resolution of Respect and promise of being a No Place For Hate campus will be posted via our campus twitter page and campus facebook page, where activities will be celebrated.
  • Ricardo Estrada Middle will be incorporating 3 No Place for Hate Activities that are student-led throughout 2017-2018 school year. The first of these events will be “No Place For Hate Week” kick off, September 5-8. Please see attachment.
